Our Travel Policy

Esperanso's Responsible Travel Policy

Our Aims

At Esperanso, we believe that tourism can have both an exceptionally positive and potentially negative impact on local communities and as a result, we are committed to our responsible travel guidelines and ensure that together we can make a positive difference in Israel through our tours. As the only Socially Responsible tourism company in Israel, we are offering a new way of experiencing this country. We know it is possible to create the most enjoyable trip while empowering and supporting local communities and organizations. We offer our customers a way to become a vehicle of social activism and change in Israel through their tour.

Make a difference with us- Socially Responsible Tourism in Israel

When you travel with us you can be sure that because of your trip in Israel, you made a real difference in the lives of many. On every tour we offer, we connect you to our local partners and organizations and are offering you activities and visits that are supporting them both financially and socially.

Some Examples Of Our Unique Activities

Instead of visiting a regular winery, we will offer you an award-winning winery that employs people with special needs. We will take you to a lookout that is in the memory of a fallen soldier and so on. Your regular trip will become more meaningful.

Our Donations And Support In The Local Industry

Our donation at the end of your trip will give you the chance to witness the change we make through your trip. We believe this model of tourism is the future of all the tourism industry in Israel and globally. We provide direct benefits to the organizations and communities our travelers visit, so we can assist in improving the living conditions in these locations. We work with local suppliers, employ local guides, sourcing food from locally-owned stores and eating and drinking in local bars and restaurants. In doing so, we are not only investing in local communities but also offering our travelers a genuine insight into Israel and its people.

Environment Responsibility

Esperanso aims to limit our impact on the environment as much as possible. We try to reduce waste and pollution and recycle, repair and reuse what we can, both on tour and at our administrative office. We follow the rules and regulations of the National Parks in Israel and will always give you the best advice on best practices while there.

Local operators and suppliers

As native Israelis we work closely and intimately with our suppliers. We treat them fairly and are relaying on the personal connection and relationship we have with them after years of experience in the business of tourism in Israel. Esperanso is committed to supporting local businesses which will help them prosper and will develop their products and services.

Local food and restaurants

We will help our clients to experience local and authentic food and restaurants by encouraging them to try out our suggestions. We are also encouraging our clients to try and explore on their own and are asking that they will be aware of what they purchase and who they are purchasing from- our guides will be there to assist with any question or concern.
